Description: There is some interesting singletrack out here, but you\'ve got to fight your way through a lot of boring doubletrack to get there. Ther scenery is nothing special as the Great Salt Lake isn\'t that pretty (not to mention the smell). This ride\'s most redeeming feature is that it dries out before the Wasatch, so you can get some training in before the real trails open up.

This trail's chief benefit lies in its relatively low elevation and location west of the Wasatch. It lasts longer in the fall and opens up earlier in the spring, thus extending your riding season. Midsummer is too hot and there's no reason to go there anyway as anything in the Wasatch will be better. Theres too much dirt road before you got to the interesting singletrack and, of course, there's the ever-present smell of the lake.

Similar Trail: Mueller Park, Bonneville Shoreline Trail, anything in the Wasatch
