THIS IS AN EASIER, FLATTER ROUTE THAN THE BIG SWEAT. You cross both bridges heading back towards town. There will be a trail, to your left, between the two bridges. This will only take you onto a piece of land that has the river on three sides. The trail head is on the left hand side after you cross BOTH bridges. This takes you up the side of a hill and along side of Tekerra, a small resort. You will then ride down a hill to a road, turn to the left again and cross a bridge. There are two trail heads to the left. The first one is a steeper very small hill down to a very scenic ride along the river. The second trail head takes you along a more direct route beside the road. Follow trail(s) until you are beside Alpine Village Cabin Resort. The trail turns left with river and continue following past Wapiti Campground and to Beckers Chalets. At this point you have to ride on the edge of Highway 93 for about 200 or 300 feet. The trail picks up again just after the entrance into Beckers on the same side of the highway. The trail follows a cutline and pops out on a ridge that takes you down to the bridge that crosses the river. You will once again have to ride on the shoulder of the highway to cross the bridge. As soon as you are over the bridge, you will cross the highway, when it is safe to do so. The trail continues right beside the bridge on the other side of the highway. As you follow this portion you will see a small black sign that says 5 to 5, turn to the left onto this one and it will take you right to the Valley of the Five Lakes. Be careful crossing the highway. This is where the only other restroom is. Follow trail to a long bridge that crosses a swampy area. There is a small climb to a trail to the right. This trail to the right will take you to Wabasso Lake. Once you reach the lake turn around
and come back via same route.

Getting there
From Jasper you take the middle exit out of town and head straight across Highway 16. The road to Fort Point is the first left. As you go down the hill to the river there are two bridges which you will cross and two large parking lots are there. Park on either side.
