Pros: -Sturdy
-No vibrations when the car is running like most racks
-Holds the bikes very tight, stopping them from swaying all over the place.

Cons: -the levers become difficult to release over time

Recommendation: For a hitch mount rack, this thing is pretty nice. It holds the bikes tight and stops them from swaying around and scratching the car or the other bikes on the rack.

Pros: Very Sturdy, with locking bolt no movement when driving. Simple to load bikes. Added bonus of holding bikes up while you clean off or lube up bikes at the trail.

Cons: Bikes are able to swing while driving (stopping and starting) which can cause rub on the frame. Need to buy extra part to stop this - does work well (Snug-Tite™ receiver lock (sold separately) virtually eliminates hitch rack movement in receiver and locks the hitch rack to the vehicle). Full suspension and women frames don't necessarily fit on this rack and again will need another adaptor to fit on the bike and then place on the rack.

Recommendation: Great BASIC bike rack. Sturdy with no worries of it moving or falling - basically it's a part of your car which is nice. BUT limited for full suspension and women's frames necessitating an adaptor. As the rack comes frames are able to swing with stop and go traffic - so again need an adaptor. Good rack for those entry level bikes, when you start upgrading, think about upgrading the rack as well.

Pros: Very sturdy rear rack.
Simple to use.

Cons: Nothing

Recommendation: Racks don't come much sturdier than this. It's so easy to use its a crime. Bike is sufficiently separated from the trunk so no scratching takes place.

Pros: Strength. Easy to attach to the hitch. Comes right off with only 1 bolt. Stable.

Cons: None

Recommendation: This thing is strong like bull and doesnt so much as shake while driving to the trail head. Cradles keep the bike from scratching.
