Description
The all new DH stem has been introduced to meet the demands of this high stress part. The solid billet of 2014 T6 aluminium is machined to create a hugely strong stem, whilst every effort has been made to reduce unnecessary weight. We've increased the amount of material in and around the steerer clamp, bar clamp and mid sections and added a 3rd bolt to the steerer clamp. The oversize bar clamp remains with 4 bolts, but with a new design whereby 2 bolts are clamped first as a pair, followed by the second 2, which helps to distribute loads evenly through the bar and decrease stress in this area.
