Model/Year: 2011

Pros: Smooth shifting using either push/pull or push/push. 2 way is a nice feature that gives the rider different options.

Cons: Perhaps a little bulky but no big deal on that.

Recommendation: It is funny I was deadset on not getting SRAM shifters because I was so used to the push/pull on Shimano's. I tried the Push/Push for my first ride and loved it. I will never pull to shift again it is that much easier for me. I recommend these shifters great product at a great price.

Model/Year: 2011

Pros: Weight
Thumb levers

Cons: None

Recommendation: The levers are perfectly spaced and the release lever pushes not only out, but can also be pulled in by your first finger. Neat for all the SRAM guys converting. ;)

Pros: Work great, durable.

Cons: Kinda bulky, does not have rapid shift like XT or XTR, limited adjustability.

Recommendation: Came with my GF, shift well.

Pros: Nice action, two way release, removable gear indicators, rapid shifting.being able to remove the indicators was real helpful when I needed to mount a remote on my handlebars in order to get the remote within reach.

Cons: The front shifter has a pretty big swing and I really got to get into it to get shifted up the next bigger ring, kinda of a hassle.

Recommendation: these shifter's came with my stumpjumper and although I've seen other's replace with XT,I've just left mine alone to see how they do and there still in use and functioning satisfactory;...
