Pros: I have the older thicker version of these pedals. For their time they were a good pedal that was pretty popular. My version has replaceable pins and cartridge bearings. They have decent grip and are very strong.
Cons: Thick profile makes them come into contact with lots of rocks.
Fairly heavy.
Recommendation: There are three areas (or five points) of contact with your bike. These points of contact are easy to overlook because of their inexpensive replacement cost. Don't cheap out on your seat, grips and pedals because thats what joins you to your bike. They should be considered the most important pieces. If you want cheap pedals these would be great. Upgrade to higher quality ones and you will be happier on your bike.
