Description
ProLink Chain Lube will not let dirt and grit stick to your chain ? in wet or dry conditions. It greatly reduces friction and wear, allowing smoother operation of your chain and cables, and it will keep your chain and drive train area clean and seemingly drag free. ProLink is a thin-bodied lubricant that uses MFR technology, a molecule which bonds to the metal surface. It does not build up or become tacky because it contains no solids like Teflon, wax, moly, graphite or plastic.

Pros: A good wet lube with teflonlike additive to quiet down chains and lube housings where needed.

Cons: I will require some wipe down after application to your chain with a towel.

Recommendation: Depending on the conditions, one application of this stuff usually keeps my chain quiet for 100 or so miles. I prefer Triflow for cost reasons but Pro Gold is a close second in usefullness.

Pros: Great dry lube, and like the description says, it doesn't attract dirt!

Cons: None, except maybe price

Recommendation: This lube is a great-drying lube that lasts a long time and attracts no grit or grime build up. This came highly recommended from my local shop, and I have to say that after a month or so of using this, I'll probably be sticking with this lube for a long time!

The bottle that I own of this has a different pin-point applicator that has solved any of the issues mentioned by the other reviewers below. The application is very precise and conserves the lube, which is good because I dropped almost $10 on mine.

Pros: doesnt bring the trail home with it after you ride. Long lasting lubrication and cleanliness of moving parts.

Cons: the bottle dispenser waste lube

Recommendation: The lubrication factor is terrific but I find that a lot of it is dispenced through the three large holes in the tip. not bad for lubing the chain, but trying to use it on other moving parts is dificult and wasteful. 5 stars for the lube and 3 for the bottrle dispenser

Cons: None.

Recommendation: Good lube, but I still go back to Tri-flow.

Pros: Great lube for dry conditions. Keeps the drive train quieter than any other product I have tried. Won't wash off super quickly in water. Even thoug it's a wet lube, it still doesn't attract dirt.

Cons: Shorter chain life than some of the wax lubes I have tried.

Recommendation: Like Blyman, I have to apply about evey 3-4 times I ride but it still does the job better than any other lube I have found. Keeps the chain clean and quiet and can even be used as a thin lube for cables. Good stuff.

Pros: It's a very clean, light lube.
It stays clean and doesn't hold on to dirt.

Cons: Have to apply it relatively often.

Recommendation: This stuff is great. I have to apply it every few times I ride, but it's really easy to apply. It doesn't get gunky.
