Recommendation: I usually don't have an issue with camelbak bladders getting gross, but I have received multiple free cleaning kits. Every once in a while I like to give the bladders I'm using a good scrubbing. These kits get the job done with very little effort. These are a great value and big help especially if you use any sugary drinks in your bladders. Get one today you won't be disappointed.

Cons: The brush for the main body of the camelback is poorly shaped and less useful than a simple sponge. Tablets leave an odd chemical taste behind no matter how much I rinse.

Recommendation: I would actually skip out on this cleaning kit even. The tube brush is usefull but still isn't stiff enough to really scrub the inside. The Main reservoir brush is pootly shaped and hard to use and the tablets make the water taste awful for weeks afterward.

Recommendation: I use these brushes with really hot water and mint flavored denture cleaner to clean my bladders once ever month or so. Ever since I aquired this brush kit, I haven't had any issues with mold growing in my bladders.

Recommendation: Forgot about my camelbak 2L basic pack and found it growing something green and gross inside. Tossed some bleach in and used the scrubbing brushes to make sure I got every last bit of that mold out. Worked like a charm.

Obviously, the best option is making sure the mold NEVER grows, but if/when it does, or you decide to just give your hydration packs a good once over, these brushes really help.

Recommendation: I tried several methods for cleaning my camelbaks (4 of them) and finally spent the $10 and got this.

It's quick, it's easy, it leaves the camelbak stuff cleaned perfectly and it's easy to rinse off and store.

Bottom line, spend the $$ and get the kit, it's well worth it.

Recommendation: Honestly, get the sterilazation spray for $5 and rinse your bladder out after every ride with Hot water and the spray. You will never have a problem. no need for additional tools to keep around the house.

Recommendation: Does exactly what its supposed to. The cleaning snake for the tube was essential. I thought Id been doing a good keeping mine clean, but was still horrified by all the crap the snake pulled out of the drinking tube the first time I used it. If you have a camel back - or other bladder for riding, You MUST get one of these.
