Recommendation: I am bald and I sweat. A LOT. This cap keeps my scalp from getting sunburned and it wicks sweat away from my forehead. It does both surprisingly well and can be either machine washed or just rinsed in the creek and wrung out. (And put back on wet if it's really hot out)
