Grips Reviews

Mountain bike grips are key, as they comprise two of the main contact points on the bike. While some grips slide on, many of the best grips are lock on grips. Screwing these grips down to the handlebar keeps them from twisting or "throttling," making for a dependable hold on the bar.

Standard round grips are good for aggressive descending and maximum handling prowess, but many endurance mountain bikers choose to ride with flared Ergon grips, which help distribute weight and maintain comfort during long days in the saddle.
