Pros: Communicate with family and friends from locations worldwide.
Type & Send custom text messages to family and friends' email or cell phones
Cons: the delorme gps unit is NOT reliable - reboots constantly and is water resistant not waterproof. battery life is not as described (probably because of the constant re-booting)
Recommendation: so-so rating because the Spot communicator works properly. Not happy with the GPS (It's a major hassle to return)
