Pros: Does one thing and does it well.

Cons: none

Recommendation: My interest is in recording where I have been and not as much figuring out where I am going. It works great for my purposes.

Pros: Super simple and small form factor. Accurate tracking and powerful software included.

Cons: Limited to trip recording - no real time navigation unless you pair it with a laptop or smartphone.

Recommendation: If you want an inexpensive, simple way to geotag photos, share routes, and map trails, get the Travel Recorder X.
