Pros: Most components are top notch for price. Shocks are both good quality air shocks. Bike has held up very well to a few years of abuse including many crashes. Value simply cannot be beat (i payed $1100 ibex direct) for a good FS XC

Cons: Tires were cheap and I spent one year riding with them before replacing with maxxis swamp thing 2.35's which brought the bike alive on singletrack. Wheels are a little delicate for a XC. Crank has known issues, however truvatic honored there warranty after the crank became lose during normal ride.

Recommendation: By far the most value in a FS as this bike has components comparable to a $3500 Gary Fisher and the frame is solid. Brands like Ibex and Motobecane seem to be pushing the value standard for more expensive brands such as specialized and gary fisher as riders figure out that these "name brands" only produce the frame.
