Description
Did you know that TAKA is Japanese for falcon? Think about that when you?re rocketing through the trees ? if you can spare a second to think. With its 8" travel frame with 66°/60° DH-specific geometry, Marzocchi 888RV fork and Marzocchi Roco R coil-over rear shock, SRAM drivetrain with e*thirteen chain guide, the TAKA can handle any decent you can ? and probably more.

Cons: What cons?
Recommendation: As with the other Airborne bikes, the MSRP doesn't really reflect the actual price tag. This bike is selling for an astonishing $1,300ish over on Giantnerd.com. On top of that, the component spec on this bike is incredible, and the performance is spot on. I'm not trying to be spammy, but I wrote a lengthy (well over 1,000 words) review over on my website that would not fit in this little box: http://www.gregridestrails.com/2010/10/airborne-taka-mountain-bike-review.html
