Direct Route Technology

Exact Actuation

Exact Actuation

When we launched our road technology from scratch we reapplied our MTB proven SRAM 1:1 actuation ratio (shifter cable travel : derailleur movement) for 10 speed rear shifting. EA helps to simplify/stabilize the uneasy act of balancing rear derailleur hanger design, tight cog spacing and exact cable tension. The result: the easiest index shifting system to set up and it stays that way.

Model/Year: 2012 2x10

Pros: -Super light weight
-Durable
-Precise shifting

Recommendation: I thought the X9 was the cream of the crop until I used the X0 on my SX. LOVE this derailleur. Super smooth and crisp shifts and the cable doesn't stretch as quickly as most others.

Model/Year: 2011, 10-speed

Pros: Responsive and precise shifting in any weather. Works faster then I can imagine. Nice upgrade from X9

Cons: None

Recommendation: This derailer is pricey but well worth every penny. Hard to believe how smooth and quick it operates until you try it. Never fail even covered with mud
