Pros: smooth shifting, solid yet lightweight design

Cons: nothing yet

Recommendation: I overlooked upgrading my cassette far too long. This is much better than the stock SRAM cassette and saved some weight too

Pros: Light, shifts great, makes every stock bike feel better (unless they have an XTR stock). If you run a 9 speed drivetrain... you should probably be running this (or the XTR) cassette.

Cons: It doesn't come stock on most bikes (it's cheaper for bike co. to instal the SRAM PG970's)

Recommendation: Find a gear ratio you like, instal it and ride it until your legs fall off.

Pros: Lightweight. Shift great. Replaceable cogs. Offered in two different sprocket ranges.

Cons: NOT cheap but you won't be disappointed either.

Recommendation: A sweet shifting, good looking, and very lightweight cassette. Lasts longer than Shimano's lower end products but still needs love after the ride to keep it performing like the day you bought it. You can easily find one in the $60 range so it's not going to break the bank either.

Pros: Light, smooth flawless shifting

Cons: expensive

Recommendation: If these could be like 50 bucks cheaper I would be very happy. As it is I get about 1 season of riding out of one. I am not a maintenance freak though, so maybe if you clean your chain more than me it will last longer.
