Description
The Stroker Ace features Hayes' first four-piston, forged mono-bloc caliper and our biggest pads ever, giving the Ace tremendous heat management capabilities. We've also designed a longer lever for increased leverage at the bar. Mated to the proven Stroker master cylinder, this makes the Ace our most powerful brake ever, while advancing the already unmatched Stroker modulation. At a system weight of 427g (including 6" rotor and hardware), the Ace trumps all the other gravity-oriented brakes in the deck.

Available Rotor Sizes: 160, 180, 203, 224 (mm)

Pros: Solid power, awesome modulating, no brake fade at all, even at 35 to 40 miles per hour DH runs, looks great

Cons: None with the exception of metallic pads that come with them stock. I highly recommend semi-metallic pads. A little work setting them up as Element mentioned.

Recommendation: These are just awesome and very powerful stopping brakes, not too heavy, and look great! I use them on my FR/DH rig and paid $109 for them at PP and run a 8" F & 7" R.

Pros: No problems after 2 seasons. Good stopping power, no fading.

Cons: Hard to keep pads from rubbing rotor.

Recommendation: I use them for trail riding and downhilling. Paid $120 each for mine. I use 8" front and 7" rear for good balance.

Pros: Just as Element stated, great modulation with exceptional stopping power. Works like a champ on my FR/DH rig. They do rub pretty cool while riding hard.

Cons: A little work in setting them up. Price

Recommendation: All around great brakes for all style of riding.

Pros: Great modulation and fade free. Tonnes of power

Cons: Setting up caliper takes a bit of work

Recommendation: Great brakes, not too heavy, only 30 grams more than the Stroker Trails but a tonne of power, these feel silky smooth as well.
