Pros: Light weight. Good protection from Pedal bites and shrubbery. 3 straps help to get them sized right around the calf.

Recommendation: These are great. I have both Calves tattooed and they have spared them from some serious harm. I actually bought a 2nd pair when they popped up on Chainlove.com. I haven't worn them in the summer yet but they didn't make me too hot in the fall and help keep me warm in the winter.
