Description
With an internal rim width of 21mm, the Haven wheel is wide and beefy enough for 2.5? tires but still exceptionally light at 1650 grams. And the UST-compatible rim requires no rim strip, eliminating more weight.

The Haven front hub is optimized for 15mm thru axles, but is also compatible with standard 9mm quick release mounting via included adapter.

Unique Threaded Eyelet system employs a nipple that?s threaded both internally and externally. The wheel uses conventional straight-pull spokes and can be trued like a standard wheel.

Pros: Look cool, wide rim, strong MT rim TLR. True's easily.

Cons: Spoke packs are $12 for 5 spokes.

Recommendation: I have the 29er set and love them. Black scratches up easily, but most MTB rims are black.

Pros: Looks great, stiff wheels, stay true, adjustable hub tightening. Tubeless.

Cons: Hub adj can loosen. Bearings wear out fast. Had to warranty a front bearing already.

Recommendation: I love these rims, they look awesome on my bike and I have had no issues yet. I ran ghetto tubeless and then got a thorn. Went un-ghetto tubeless on one tire and have had no issues yet.

Model/Year: 2011 29" / 20mm front axle

Pros: Lightweight and stiff - just like MTB wheels should be. Love the ability to run UST/tubeless out of the box. Durable and able to stand up to AM abuse. 20mm axle available (woot!)

Cons: A little spendy and the UST/tubeless only recommendation seems unnecessary. Graphics are a bit much for my tastes.

Recommendation: These wheels are super versatile - lightweight enough for XC riders but burly enough for AM/Trail riders. Amazing attention to detail and quality in this wheel build.

Pros: Everything! They look great. They ride great! Very smooth spin on the freehub and super light wieght for such a strong wheel.

Cons: NONE YET.

Recommendation: I just started riding on these a few weeks ago and love, love, love them. They are much lighter than the WTB's I was running prior. The tubless set up is a beautiful thing and the wheels feel so nice roaring down the hills. They with withstand just about anything the trail has to offer. Worth the money.

Pros: Super smooth freehub, tight engagement and solid. Slick machine work on the hub matches the performance. UST too boot..

Cons: Wish these also had 20mm axle but that will come soon enough

Recommendation: Light weight and stiff wheelset with almost instant engagement at the cassette body. The low weight is amazing allowing you to spool up to speed quickly. Strong enough to hit almost anything you want. A perfect match for any bike that has 4 - 6" of travel.
