Various color options on the spokes, if you have a scheme you are going for.
Cons: Sheath on PBO spokes can get breached if your chain jumps the rear cluster.
Special order parts/no substitutes, but readily available.
Having to answer questions from other riders about the wheels/spokes...if you're impolite, not an issue just dust them in the race.
Recommendation: Bullet PROOF! I've had Spinergy PBO wheels on my roadies and never got a wobble. I have abused these Xyclone 29ers in every race and they come out shining.
Customer service at Spinergy has been awesome over the years and they have gotten me parts for maintenance or spoke replacement (results of me not having rear D adjusted properly) in a matter of a few days.
